The tentacles of the pandemic is loosening its grip. The world is gearing up towards normalcy in a phased manner. GSB community in Trivandrum, as part of the society also has started this process.
Representatives of the GSB Samaj, Trivandrum, paid respects to Kashi Math Mathadheesh H H Srimad Samyameendra Tirtha Swamiji at Kochi during their Chathurmasa Vritha on September 25th. “Paadapooja” was conducted along with Bhiksha Seva and Kannikka Samarpan. Swamiji has given their “Aashirvaads” to the entire samajiks of Trivandrum. Swamiji will be leaving Kochi for their next mokkam at Kota, near Kundapura on 20th November.
We had commenced our Samajik activities on the auspicious Mahanavami day, 14th October with Ganapati Homam and Vishnusahasranama Pooja. “Mannami Brahman” was conducted that day. There were considerable number of samajiks. All were happy and enjoyed the “Brahman” after a gap of 20 months. All were aware of the protocol and maintained it judiciously.
An amount of INR 7001/- as Tirupati Kanikka received from Samajiks on Mahanavami day is already sent to Tirupati Devasthan.
“Vijayadashami” was celebrated the next day in a festive manner. “Pooja eduppu” , “Vidyarambham” and “Kanya Pooja” , were ceremoniously conducted.
Education prizes for the two academic years – 2020, 21 and our Silver Jubilee cash prize were distributed that day. Anuvind A Prabhu, Aswini S Sharma, Chaithanya U, Dhanya D, Harikrishna U Kamath, Ishaani R Kamath, Jyothiradithya Kamath D, Neha Shenoy, Parvati M Pai, Pranav S Prabhu, Prithvi R, Ramnarayan H, Sanjay Rao K, Savitha H, Vaishali Shenoy & Vignesh Prabhu R, were honoured with colourful mementos and merit certificates.
Diwali, was also celebrated at our Mandir in a very minimal manner on 4th November.
Sree Sathyanarayana Vrita Pooja for November is on 14th, Sunday. Council members are hosting this Pooja.

The functions will be conducted as per Covid Protocols. Now the Government have relaxed the rules, and the number of permissible crowd is increased to 200.
Sree Sathyanarayana pooja for the month of December is tentatively fixed on 25.12.2021 Saturday, Yajman is Sri P. Venkateswara Shenoy. Request your cooperation, presence and participation.
