Bulletin – April 2023

Today, the world is standing on the verge of commencement of journey to the planets in the outer space and we are living in a greater and more modern world. At this moment of great innovations a question may arise: “The universe is large and do we require a community with a narrow outlook?” When a man thinks of himself and his family we may say such outlook is not a broad one but when a man serve others it cannot be termed as a narrow one. The community as we see today is the result of a prolonged evolution. Man learns by experience and ever since the dawn of civilisation, man has known that individual possessions, wealth and intelligence are significant and they can be properly utilised only if they are pooled together in a joint enterprise (which we call today as communities) where unity of action is the basic principle. Even when we are standing on our own legs, we must know that as individuals we are feeble. A gloomy picture of uncertain future will stare at us if we should choose to live shredding away the bondage of our community.

Our today’s action will definitely shape our tomorrow. So it is our duty to start now, nourish and see that we achieve something for the brighter tomorrow.
Our ancestors have left for us a magnificent house – our Community – to live in. This house is in perfect shape and stands on very strong robust foundation and the only thing we require at the moment is a strong desire to live together under a single roof. Harmony and unity in thought, speech and action is the need of the hour. When once we desire progress and when once we join together to achieve this, it will not be a difficult journey to reach the goal. It is a long cherished dream of the GSB Trivandrum community, to have a branch of “Kashimutt” in the capital city of Kerala. The whole GSB community in the country will have the opportunity to visit the Pious land of “Ananthapadmanabha”. We are on the lookout for suitable land for the purpose. Our beloved Swamiji has given his blessings to the Trivandrum Samajiks that our prayers will materialise in near future. Let us move ahead united to achieve our Dream.
