Navaratri Festival was celebrated at our Prarthana Mandir with active participation

Navaratri Celebrations: The Navaratri Festival was celebrated at our Prarthana Mandir from 22nd September to 2nd October 2025. On all evenings Sree Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram was chanted with active participation. A large number of Sumangalees performed Kunkumarchana on all days. The Mahanavami celebrations were held on Wednesday, 1st October 2025. On this auspicious day, Sree Vishnu Sahasranama Pooja, bhajans, and Mannami Brahman were performed. ‘Thatta Kannikka’, was made to Lord Venkatachalapathy and was duly sent to Tirumala Devasthanam, Tirupathi. As part of the Mahanavami rituals, samajiks performed Pradakshina Namaskaram while chanting the sacred Purusha Sooktha Mahamantra, adding to the sanctity of the occasion. A special mahajan yogam was held. Several samajiks came forward and gave their opinions and suggestions. Due to space constraints, the names of Sumangalees who participated in the Kunkumarchana could not be published.

In the evening, under the guidance of our Grama Purohit, Sri Ratheesh Bhat, Sree Mahalakshmi Pooja Archana by Vanitha Vibhag, and Pooja Veppu were performed. The participation of more than 100 Vanitha members in the Kunkumarchana and Mahalakshmi Pooja reflected the strong involvement of the Vanitha Vibhag and the overall unity of the Samaj during this sacred festival. Special appreciation to the entire Vanitha Vibhag, especially Vanitha Pradhaan, Smt Manju for their active involvement and commitment to make the Navaratri Festival a great success.

Vijayadashami and Baladivas: The festival of Vijayadashami, marking the culmination of the Navaratri celebrations, was observed with great devotion and cultural enthusiasm on 2nd October 2025, at the Prarthana Mandir. The day also coincided with Baladivas, a celebration focused on children and the importance of education and knowledge. The celebrations began with Saraswathi Pooja, Pooja Eduppu, Vidyarambham, and Navakanyaka Pooja. These ceremonies were conducted with due reverence, and many children and families participated in the Vidyarambham. The celebration was marked by two exceptional dance performances that captured the attention and appreciation of all present.

The first performance, was presented by the Yuvak dance team “Nrithyanjali”. It was choreographed by Aparna S Kamath, who also performed along with Nandita K Rao, Diyakrishna D Mallya, and Akshara S Prabhu. The team performed with remarkable grace and professionalism. Their choreography and coordination reflected a deep commitment to the art form and were widely praised by the audience.
The second performance, was presented by the Vanitha Vibhag dance team “Painjal”. The performers were introduced by Smt. Jayashree Prabhu, and the choreography was by Smt. Anupama Rao. The team included Smt. Anupama K Rao, Smt. Saritha Pai, Smt. Ushus Dinakar, Smt. Sridevi Pai, Smt. Renjini Sachithananda Prabhu, Smt. Sindhu Sathish, Smt. Vinu Venugopal, Smt. Manjula Sarma, Smt. Sangeetha Sumesh, and Smt. Srividhya Rajesh. Dressed in vibrant and traditional attire, the team delivered a spellbinding performance that was described as a highlight of the entire Navaratri celebration. Their grace, synchronization, and expression were applauded, and heartfelt congratulations were extended to all participants on behalf of the Samaj.

The support and participation of Samajiks during the entire Navaratri Utsav and Vijayadashami, played a vital role in the success of the celebrations. Phalaru Seva was sponsored every day by generous and devoted members, further enriching the spiritual ambiance.
