Navaratri Festival at Sree Narasimha Vilas Prarthana Mandir
Our sabha is celebrating Navaratri Festival at Sree Narasimha Vilas Prarthana Mandir, beginning on Monday, 22nd September 2025. This annual festival, celebrated with devotion and grandeur, holds a special place in the hearts of devotees and brings the community together in spiritual harmony. As in previous years, the Mahasabha has planned a variety of religious observances and cultural events to mark this sacred
occasion. Each day of Navaratri will witness the enthusiastic participation of Sumangalies who will perform Lalithasahasranama Kumkumarchana in the evenings. This ritual, dedicated to the Divine Mother, is a symbol of feminine power and auspiciousness, invoking blessings for health, prosperity, and peace. The festival reaches a spiritual peak on Mahanavami, which falls on Wednesday, 1st October 2025. The day the traditional Manmi-Brahman ( മന്മിബ്രാഹ്മൺ) will be conducted. Samajiks intending to offer Manmi brahman seva can contact the treasurer/council members.
Sree Saraswathi Pooja will be performed in the evening, under the guidance of Purohit Sri Ratheesh Bhat, followed by Pooja Vayppu, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi, the embodiment of wisdom, learning, and arts. The celebrations will culminate on Vijayadashami day, observed on Thursday, 2nd October 2025, which also coincides with Baladinam, a day dedicated to children. The morning functions will commence with Pooja Eyduppu, Vidyarambham, and Nava Kanyaka Pooja. Following the morning rituals, the functions will continue till noon with a variety of cultural programs. These events provide a vibrant platform for artistic expression and community participation, enriching the spiritual atmosphere of the festival.
