Samachar September 2025

August 2025 was a spiritually uplifting and eventful month for our Sabha, filled with devotion, celebration, and community bonding. The activities of the month commenced with Sree Varalakshmi Vratha Pooja on 8th August, followed by the Rig Upakarma Havanam on 9th August, both witnessing active participation from samaj members.

The 39th Annual Day celebrations were held on 15th August and Annual Sabha Sammelan on17th August. Annual day began with Vishnu Sahasranama Pooja, followed by cultural competitions, and Samaradhana at noon. Sree Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on the same day evening with necessary rituals. On 17th August, the Shree Sathyanarayana Pooja, Vishnusahasranama parayan, Vyasopasana and Bhajans were performed, followed by the Annual Sabha Sammelan. Sabha President Adv K G Mohandas Pai presided over the Sammelan. Vice President Sri Sathish Prabhu presented the annual report. Meritorious students for academic excellence were honoured and prizes were distributed to the participants for various cultural competitions conducted on the annual day. Dr Soubhagya S Prabhu was felicitated for guiding the Vanitha Vibhag in Vyasopasana. Sree Vinayaka Chathurthi was celebrated on 27th August with Mahaganapati homam.
A group of 16 members from GSB Maha Sabha, Trivandrum, made a pilgrimage to Shree Pattabhi Ramachandra Temple, Koteswar, where Kashi Mathadheesh Srimad Samyameendra Thirtha Swamiji was observing their Chathurmasa vrita. They performed Ulpo to Pattabhi Ramachandra Swamy and to Vedavyasa. They offered prayers at the Vrindavans of Sree Swamijis at Basrur, Hemmadi and Manjeswar. They also visited Chandika Durga Parameswari Temple, Anegudde Siddhivinayaka temple, Kollur Sree Mookambika temple and Anantheswar Temple at Manjeshwar.
